Headlands School / Penarth Hotel

Built in 1868 as the Penarth Hotel by the Taff Railway Company.

It was designed by Charles Edward Bernard and intended to replace the Penarth Head Inn, removed to make space for the Custom House.

In its heyday it had a 20-acre park around it.
