Penarth Tree Forum: Trees Open Meeting

An opportunity to find out how our efforts are progressing with regards to The Town’s tree canopy.

Time & Location

17 Mar 2022, 19:00 – 20:30

St Augustine's Parish Hall, Albert Rd, Penarth CF64, UK

About the Event

An opportunity to find out how our efforts are progressing with regards to the town’s tree canopy.

The Friends of Victoria Square were formed at a similar meeting two years ago, since then they have received significant funding (£9000.00) from the National Lottery to conduct tree and biodiversity surveys we will find out what has been done in the square and what plans are for the future.

We are hoping that more people will come forward to create their own groups to help protect the trees and plant more in their neighbourhood throughout the town.

There will be Guest Speakers from Vale of Glamorgan Council and a group discussion session on how we can increase the number of trees in the town.
