Bruce Wallace: A history of and my memories of Albert Road primary and Stanwell School Penarth



Bruce is a well respected local historian and frequent speaker at events, born and bred in Penarth he has spent quite some time in school archives building a story for us all to enjoy.

We will hear about when each school was established and how it has changed over the years and key events that have been significant during its time in Penarth. There will be stories about well known pupils and teachers. If you were a pupil in your younger days then you may well recognise some of the names you will hear about.

For Albert School we will also hear about the longstanding Head, Miss Edmunds and all about the famous murals on the front wall (and of course, the mouse!).
