ABOUT THE SPEAKER - Cindy Howells

Chris is an avid historian, specialising in pre 1900's Penarth. A former member of the PCS Committee (now Chair of Friends of St Augustine's*), Chris has helped contribute to our own reference information, including on this website. Chris is also an instrumental part of our Penarth Town Heritage Trail Project, who, together with Alan Thorne and other contributors, are responsible for creating the written information for the boards to be displayed around town, and expand information to be placed on this website.
